Vintage Cardinal Blown Glass Christmas Ornament by Old World Christmas

Part of Old World Christmas’s Vintage Woodland collection, this cardinal pairs a blown-glass bird form with a mercury-style finish inspired by traditional Victorian ornaments. The elongated eight-inch silhouette gives it an unusual presence along a branch, while the aged reflective surface adds the imperfect flash that makes mixed ornament collections feel deeper and less newly assembled. It is especially effective beside clearer glass, pine cones, and saturated red accents.

“A little tarnished-looking shine is invaluable on a Christmas tree. It keeps newer ornaments from looking too new and gives the branches the impression of having a history.”
-Mrs. Mayfair
