Painting Chinese Scroll – Silk Wall Art – Koi Golden

A Koi Golden scroll like this rewards the slow, second look. It brings a sense of order to whatever hangs nearby. You notice something new in it every few weeks. It gives the eye a place to rest and the mind a place to wander.

The silk ground lends the ink a softness that paper rarely achieves. Peonys feel fresh, as if brushed this morning. There is honesty in how the colorful gongbi are painted. The fine detailing is comfortably placed in the frame, never squeezed. The peony gives the image its second layer, a silent wish for wealth and honor.

For Eastern art for modern homes, its simplicity is its sophistication. Hang it where the morning light hits and it becomes Chinese scroll art for the office at its best. Frankly, this Koi Golden scroll is the rare purchase you will never second-guess. The composition feels complete from every viewing distance.
